Photos in Heverlee-Leuven, Belgium

1.   Headerquarter of Engineering Faculty, K.U.Leuven.   Address:  Kasteelpark Arenberg 1, Heverlee 3001, Belgium

  1. There are many activities hold on this lawn.

I like to play frisbee here. 2 minutes away from my office in ESAT.

3.   Computer Science department, K.U.Leuven, Heverlee, Belgium.   Behind the building is IMEC.

4.   Campus 200, Heverlee. I like here.

5.   Behind of me is the tower of ESAT building, where I worked from
2003-Oct to 2004-Aug.   Address:  Kasteelpark Arenberg 10, Heverlee 3000, Belgium.

6.   Heverlee Campus, K.U.Leuven.

7.   Campus 200, Heverlee. Bike was rented from VELO at price of 30 Euro for 1 year.

8.   Quiet path in Heverlee Campus. Almost everyday of 03-04 academic year, I walked along this
way to my office.

9.    Playground in Heverlee Campus. It's half of the whole size.  I like here. 5 minutes away from my
dorm in Studentenwijk Arenberg.

10.  Studenwijk Arenberg, Heverlee, Belgium.

11.  Studentwijk Arenberg, Heverlee. Block 2 and 3 are captured by this photo.  I live in Block 9,
though I'd perfered Block 25 or 26 that were newly built in 2003.

12.   My dorm in Block 9, Studentenwijk Arenberg, Heverlee.      Nice price: 163 Euro/month (195 US
Dollar), all utilities were included. Outside of the window are lawns, trees and ducks   swimming in
the gentle river. It's amazing that those ducks can fly into sky. I am not joking.
These buildings are already 50 years old. Can you beleive it?

13.   I like this room. In each floor, there are 11 rooms like this one. The building is more than 50
years old, but still seems new.

14.   Gift T-shirt for volunteers in Orientation Days 2003, K.U.Leuven.

15.   My room in Naamsestraat, Leuven.  Price: 134 Euro/month (160 US Dollar). Extremely
quiet and nice, while close to bus-stop and near to city center.
I lived here for one year and finished MAI study very well.  Only one problem: it's hard
to wake up in the morning because of the dark and thick curtain. Very good sleep!
Serving as a memory on my days and hard works in that year, the photo was taken on
the day when I moved out from here. I move to Studentenwijk Arenberg.
