Thus, the accusation is made that the Germans "enslaved" millions of people because there was a desperate labour shortage, and, simultaneously, that they "exterminated" millions of people who were perfectly able to work! This doesn't make sense. It seems only natural that nations which consider it a "witzige Sache" to burn millions of people to death with phosphorous, jellied gasoline, and atomic bombs -- the United States and Britain -- should wax indignant over crimes committed by others. Perhaps it was the Germans who brought the slaves to America...
